ST. GEORGE, Utah - Boise State freshman men's golfer Tristan Rohrbaugh concluded the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational tied for 15th place Tuesday, his career-best finish as Bronco.

Rohrbaugh completed the tournament 1-under, with a 36-hole total of 143 (71-72) at the par-72, 6,781-yard Pointe and Black Rock Nines at the Sunbrook Golf Club.

Junior Shane Allor finished tied for 21st after firing a 1-under 71 in the final round, concluding the event with a two-round total of 145 (+1).

"Tristan played solid. He's becoming a tougher competitor," head coach Dan Potter said. "And Shane fought hard without having his `A game.' As a group, we just didn't quite have it. It was a frustrating result."

The Broncos completed the tournament in seventh place as a team with a total of 581 (294-287, +5). College of Charleston shot 563 (-13) to take home first-place honors.

Senior Ty Travis (76-71--147, +3), freshman Jacob Byers (80-73--153, +9) and junior Logan France (73-81--154, +10) rounded out the scoring for the Broncos.

Kyle Mitsunaga, competing as an individual, finished with a two-round total of 149 (72-77, +5).

Next up for the Broncos will be the Folino Invitational in City of Industry, Calif., Feb. 16-17.
