April 13, 2016 BOISE, Idaho – Boise State’s women’s golf and women’s tennis programs have earned Public Recognition Awards from the NCAA for having multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores in the top-10 percent of their respective sports, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
This is the third-straight year the women’s golf team has received the award, and the second straight for the women’s tennis program.
The APR provides a real-time look at a team’s academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation, providing a measure of each team’s academic performance.
The full APR report, which will include 2014-15 scores for all teams, will be released by the NCAA next Wednesday (April 19).
