LAST TIME OUT: Sadi Henderson shattered the previous outdoor 800m school record (2:07.66) at the Sun Angel Classic last Friday night with a 2:04.39 to take third place in the 800m premiere race that featured professional runners and the best collegians in the country. Henderson's time is also the fifth-fastest 800m time in Mountain West history.
Drew Lindsley was sensational on both Friday and Saturday, setting personal records in the hammer throw (151-4 / 46.13m) and the discus (161-1.75 / 49.12m), good for 10th and second place, respectively. The men's sprinters were solid as Bryce Kirby was able to log a third-place finish in the 100m after clocking a 10.64 and Alexandru Terpezan (10.66) was close behind in fifth. Terpezan excelled in his best event - the 200m - by taking fifth place with a 21.44. Kirby (21.76) finished in 10th.
Courtney Hutchinson (47-8.25 / 14.54m) led the way in the women's shot put by taking fourth and Camden Stoddard (15-8.75 / 4.80m) posted an eighth-place performance in the pole vault. Boise State will prepare for another busy weekend when they head to the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 13-14) and the Mt. SAC Relays (April 13-15) in Southern California later this week.
MW WEEKLY HONOR FOR HENDERSON: Henderson was announced the Mountain West Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from April 6-8. Her school record 2:04.39 secured the second conference weekly accolade of her career, as she also picked up the honor in the indoor season (Jan. 31).
