Women's Golf Closes Fall in California

Team returns to action at the UC Irvine Invitational
BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State women's golf team returns to play, Oct. 29-30, at the UC Irvine Invitational in Santa Ana, Calif.

LAST TIME OUT: Two weeks ago, the Broncos competed in the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, and finished in fourth place. The Broncos shot 904 (308-307-289, +40) and placed three scorers in the top 25, including one in the top 10.

Senior Tara Finigan ended the tournament in a tie for sixth place, and was just two strokes behind a tie for fourth place. Finigan was second in the field in par-5 scoring (4.67), and ended the tournament with a score of 220 (75-75-70, +40).

Alejandra Lobelo and Lexi Perry both tied for fourth in par-3 scoring, averaging 2.83 strokes. Perry finished in a tie for 15th place, with her third round being the best of her collegiate career. Lobelo shot 226 (76-77-73, +10) to finish in a tie for 24th, and Nicole Suppelsa shot 234 (80-78-76, +18).

SCHEDULE: The two-day tournament will be hosted at the Santa Ana Country Club. The tournament will play 54 holes, with 36 holes starting on Monday, Oct 29th, with shotgun at 9:30 a.m MT. The remaining 18 holes will be played on Tuesday with tee off times off of the first and 10th holes, starting at 9 a.m MT. The course will play at 6,072 yards, par-72.
