BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football team will host its annual Fall Fan Fest Saturday, Aug. 25. A first look at the 2018 edition of the Broncos is scheduled to begin at Albertsons Stadium at 2 p.m., but there will be plenty more going on surrounding the stadium before and after the event.
The Ford Tailgate Zone will open at 11 a.m., providing fans a preview of what will be offered at DeChevrieux Field – the Broncos' grass practice facility – throughout the 2018 season. Tailgate games, an inflatable area, the new Bronco Girl (and her horse, Blue), food trucks and more will be on hand for the Fall Fan Fest.
Albertsons Stadium gates (A, D & N/P) will open at 1 p.m., and parking and admission to practice is free. Buster Bronco, the spirit squad and marketing staff will distribute 2018 schedule posters at each of the gates.
Following the conclusion of the open practice, fans will have access to The Blue, where coaches, student-athletes, the spirit squad, Buster and Bronco Girl will be available for photos and autographs.
The Athletic Ticket Office will open at 11 a.m., as fans will have an opportunity to test drive available seats for the upcoming season and purchase on the spot. Additionally, Blockparty, a fan-focused hospitality and entertainment company, will be on hand, showcasing tailgating options for the 2018 season. Season tickets, mini plans and single-game tickets are all available for the upcoming season.
The nationally-ranked Broncos enter 2018 as the defending Mountain West Champions, returning 14 of their 19 all-conference honorees. Last season's conference championship was the team's 13th since joining what is now the Football Bowl Subdivision in 1996, more than any school in the country. During that time the Broncos have also won 10-or-more games 15 times, a mark that ranks second nationally only to Ohio State (17).
Boise State is also 108-7 at Albertsons Stadium since 2000, the nation's highest home winning percentage (.939).
