Boise States makes trip to Washington State for three-day tournament

WHAT IS HAPPENING

The Boise State Women's tennis team is traveling to Washington State to compete in the Cougar Classic. The tournament will run for three days beginning this Friday.
 

REPRESENTING THE BRONCOS

Five Broncos will be competing this weekend. Emily Strande, Vanessa Timm, Frankie Trella, Wilhelmina Palmer, and Lilian Poling will all be competing in the singles events. The Broncos will have two doubles teams competing, with Trella and Timm teaming up, as well as Poling and Palmer.
 

TOURNAMENT FIELD AND FORMAT

Some of the schools competing in the tournament include Washington State, Idaho, Boise State, Montana State and Seattle. The tournament format includes two singles and one doubles match Friday, two doubles and one singles match Saturday, then final rounds for Sunday.
