LISTEN: Calling the game will once again be Bob Behler and Abe Jackson, which will air live on both 670 KBOI AM and 93.1 KTIK FM.

LAST TIME OUT: Boise State was once again edged on the road, falling to New Mexico Wednesday night at The Pit in Albuquerque, N.M., 73-72. The Broncos had a chance to win after New Mexico missed two free throws with nine seconds to play, but the visitors couldn't get a shot off as time expired, giving the Lobos the one-point victory.

Justinian Jessup and Derrick Alston tied for the team high in points with 23 each. Jessup hit a season-high five 3-pointers and also recorded team highs with six rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Zach Haney was the team's other double-digit scorer with 11 points. The Broncos shot it well from the field (27-of-57, 47.4%) and the free throw line (10-of-11, 91%).

ABOUT THE FALCONS: Air Force is in sixth place in the Mountain West standings with an 8-9 league record. The Falcons have won three of their last four games, including a 64-61 road victory over third-place Fresno State on Feb. 20.

Air Force has been solid throughout the conference season, currently ranked second in defensive rebounding percentage at 75.2 and third in turnover margin at a +1.4 average. The Falcons are led by Lavelle Scottie (15.8 ppg, 5.7 rpg) and Ryan Swan (13.1 ppg, 7.4 rpg), who are No. 1 and 2 on the team in points and rebounds.

THE SERIES: The Falcons claimed the 74-60 victory back on Jan. 22 at Clune Arena in the first matchup between the two teams. Alston scored a team-high 24 points while the Broncos were just 5-of-25 from behind the arc and were outrebounded by the Falcons 41-22.

Boise State still firmly has the lead in the all-time series, 11-5. The Broncos have won seven of the last nine matchups against the Falcons. The Blue and Orange are 5-1 against Air Force home at Taco Bell Arena.

JESSUP REACHING NEW LEVEL: The junior wing was sensational against the Lobos, recording team highs in points (23), rebounds (6), assists (4) and steals (2). The performance at New Mexico is indicative of his play in the last month, as over the course of the last five games Jessup is averaging 21.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and most impressively, 4.0 3-pointers per game.

In regards to the season as a whole, Jessup is shooting 42.9 percent from behind the arc – the No. 28 percentage in the NCAA. He also ranks in the top 100 of the NCAA when it comes to total 3-pointers (No. 72 – 82), 3-pointers per game (No. 75 – 2.7 avg.) and minutes per game (No. 94 – 35.0 avg.).

With his five threes against New Mexico, Jessup moved up a spot in the Bronco record book for career threes and now sits in fifth with 222. Jessup now will set his sights on Nick Duncan (250 threes) for fourth place in program history.

In addition, his 82 threes this season makes him the only player in program history to make 80 or more threes in two different seasons. Jessup tallied the second-most single-season threes last season in 2017-18, making 90.

NOT DONE YET: Redshirt senior Zach Haney has upped his played in the past week, logging back-to-back double digit scoring games at UNLV (March 2) and New Mexico (March 6), scoring 13 and 11 points, respectively. He was also extremely efficient in those two contests, shooting 69 percent from the field (11-of-16). Haney's season-long field goal percentage of 57.7 has been a calling card for the 6-foot-11 post, as his percentage ranks No. 2 on the team.

WINGS CARRYING THE LOAD: The season-long theme of the off-the-charts production from Boise State's three starting wings – Jessup, Alston and Alex Hobbs – has reached new heights during the Mountain West season. The trio all rank in the top 10 in the MW during league play for shooting percentage (6. Hobbs – 48.5%, T8. Alston – 48.1% and T8. Jessup 48.1%), making Boise State the only school in the conference to have three players ranking in the top 10 for shooting percentage. Furthermore, the three players rank in the top 15 for scoring in conference play, as Alston is No. 11 at 15.6 ppg, Jessup is No. 12 at 15.5 ppg and Hobbs is No. 14 at 14.9 ppg.
