
Boise State Baseball Hosts Diamond Dinner

BOISE, Idaho -Â Boise State will host a baseball game for the first time in 40 years when it opens an 11-game homestand, Feb. 28. The night before will be equally special as the Broncos are holding their inaugural Diamond Dinner.
Former Boise State student-athlete and assistant coach Karl Benson will be the keynote speaker. Benson is a past conference commissioner of the Western Athletic, Mid-American and Sun Belt. Boise State head coach Gary Van Tol and seniors Jordan Britton, Michael Hicks, Cory Meyer and Cameron Sommer will also speak at the dinner.
The Feb. 27 event begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Stueckle Sky Center. Rick Worthington, the public address announcer for Boise State baseball, will be the evening emcee. The program includes dinner and both live and silent auctions.
Registration for the Diamond Dinner is open to the public.
