Beach Volleyball Announces 2021 Schedule

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's beach volleyball team has announced their 2021 season schedule as they prepare to open competition the weekend of March 6-7 in Arizona.
The schedule includes a total of five tournaments and six individual contests in southern California. The first four tournaments will be on the road before the Broncos return home to close out the season with the Boise State Beach Classic. The slate will feature contests against six Pac-12 programs and other big names in the likes of Nebraska and Long Beach State.
Both Corban tournaments will feature Pacific Northwest rivals Corban, Washington, Oregon and Portland in a format that will feature no head-to-head team competition, instead they will meet in flighted pairs tournaments where individual pairs compete for titles.

ARIZONA TOURNAMENT
The first tournament of the season will have the Broncos traveling to Tucson, Ariz. On March 6 they will be taking on Arizona State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The following day they will face host Arizona followed by Stephen F. Austin to round out the first weekend of action. Both Arizona and Arizona State are perennial top-20 programs.CORBAN UNIVERSITY PAIRS TOURNAMENTS
The next week March 13-14 takes Boise State to Salem, Ore., where the Broncos will take part in the first of two pairs tournaments hosted by Corban University this spring. The second tournament will be the weekend of April 3-4.Both Corban tournaments will feature Pacific Northwest rivals Corban, Washington, Oregon and Portland in a format that will feature no head-to-head team competition, instead they will meet in flighted pairs tournaments where individual pairs compete for titles.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TRIP
In between the two Corban tournaments, the Broncos will travel to southern California to continue the season with six more team matches. On March 9 they will face Long Beach State and Nebraska in Long Beach before heading to Northridge the next day to face CSUN and Westcliff. The trip will conclude with the Blue and Orange facing off against Cal Poly and Cal on March 21 in San Luis Obispo.GRAND CANYON TOURNAMENT
On the weekend of April 9-10, the Broncos will head south again to Arizona, this time to Phoenix for a tournament hosted by Grand Canyon. The opponents and schedule for the tournament have yet to be announced.BOISE STATE BEACH CLASSIC
April 16-17 will mark the conclusion of the season for the Broncos as they host their Boise State Beach Classic. This year Boise State will be facing a top-notch pool of Pac-12 opponents for the two-day event. On Friday, April 16, the Broncos will take on Arizona State and Arizona, followed by a rematch with ASU on Saturday along with a matchup versus Utah to cap off the 2021 season.
