Balanced Scoring Leads Broncos to Win Over Oregon Tech

BOISE, Idaho – Six Broncos scored in double figures and Boise State routed Oregon Tech 83-48, Monday at ExtraMile Arena.
Mary Kay Naro led all scorers with a career-high 17 points, including 5-for-9 shooting from 3-point range. Elodie Lalotte recorded her first-career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.
Dominique Leonidas added 13 points, Kaitlin Burgess and Abby Muse each tallied 11 and Anna Ostlie chipped in 10.
"It was a good team win," Boise State Head Coach Gordy Presnell said. "We shot the ball better tonight. We've got a long way to go, but hopefully this gives us some confidence going to BYU, Saturday."
In the opening quarter five Broncos scored and Jayda Clark's layup with five seconds left in the period gave the Broncos a 12-11 lead.
Boise State recorded seven of the first nine points in the second quarter will Lalotte contributing a pair of buckets sandwiched around a Naro 3-pointer.
The Broncos held a 21-17 advantage with 3:01 left in the first half before going on a 22-0 over the next 7:17 to take a commanding 43-17 lead with 5:44 left in the third quarter.
Leonidas led the run with nine points, including a 3-pointer that beat the first half buzzer, and Naro contributed a pair of treys.
The Broncos led 57-27 entering the final quarter and increased their lead to as many as 38 in the fourth quarter.
Boise State faces its first road test of the season when it plays at BYU, Saturday Nov. 20. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
