Broncos Announce 2021-22 Indoor Schedule

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Head Coach Corey Ihmels announced the 2021-22 indoor track and field schedule, Thursday, marking the team's first full indoor season since 2019-20.
The men's distance crew will kick off the Broncos' season at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Mass., Dec. 4, while the sprinters and jumpers round out the 2021 calendar year at the Spokane Invitational, Dec. 11.
Boise State returns from winter break with a full slate of meets in January, splitting its squad across Washington and Texas. First, the Blue and Orange will send student-athletes to both Spokane, Wash., for the Cougar Classic (Jan. 14-15) and to Seattle, Wash., for the UW Indoor Preview (Jan. 15).
Two weekends later, select Broncos will return to Seattle, Wash., for the Washington Invitational (Jan. 28-29), while others will travel to Lubbock, Texas to compete at the Texas Tech Invitational over the same two days.
February features four more meets, two in Washington and two in New Mexico. Boise State will return to Spokane, Wash., for a third time for the WSU Invitational, Feb. 4-5. Then, the squad will split one more time to compete at either the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash., or the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., Feb. 11-12.
The Broncos conclude their indoor season at the Mountain West Championships, Feb. 24-26 in Albuquerque, N.M., and the NCAA Indoor Championships is slated for March 11-12 in Birmingham, Ala.
The 2022 outdoor track and field schedule will be announced at a later date.
