Fourteen Broncos Head to Arkansas for NCAA First Round Competition

WHAT'S NEXT: Fourteen Broncos will represent the Boise State track and field team in 15 different events at the NCAA West First Round of the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The first round will take place over four days of competition, beginning May 27.
WOMEN'S PARTICIPANTS: The eight Broncos that will represent the women's program are as follows: Bianca Boehnke (5000 meters), Emily Jobes (3000 meter steeplechase), Abby Kendrick (3000 meter steeplechase), Amit Koma (10,000 meters), Noelani Krauss (800 meters), Victoria Lotz (hammer throw), Kaiya Robertson (1500 meters) and Emily Stefan (long jump).
MEN'S PARTICIPANTS: The men's team will have six participants: Brian Kiprotich (10,000 meters), Chase Lawyer (110 meter hurdles), Tanner Nett (shot put), Aayden Simmons (high jump, long jump), Alex Thompson (1500 meters) and Raekwon Weatherspoon (long jump).
THE STAKES: The top 12 finishers in each individual event advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which take place June 10-13 in Eugene, Oregon.
LAST TIME OUT: Boise State had a successful outing at the Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which concluded May 16. The Broncos claimed four individual titles, with Robertson earning conference victories in the 800 and 1500 meter races, Weatherspoon claiming the crown in the men's long jump, and Thompson earned gold in the 1500. The women's team finished with 86 points for a third-place finish, its highest finish as members of the MW.
