LOGAN, Utah - The Boise State women's basketball team looks for a road sweep at Utah State when the Broncos face the Aggies at 2 p.m., Saturday.
Boise State (11-7, 8-7 MW) posted an 87-69 victory over Utah State (4-14, 2-11), Thursday as five players scored in double figures. Jade Loville tallied a game-high 20 points and added 10 rebounds for her second-career double-double. Mary Kay Naro notched a school-record 16 assists to set a Mountain West freshman record.
Freshman Alexis Mark notched her second double-double in three games with 16 points (tied for her season/career high) and 10 boards. Fellow freshman Anna Ostlie added a season/career-high 12 points off the bench. Mallory McGwire (17 points) and Abby Muse (10 points) gave the Broncos four starters with 10-plus points. Elodie Lalotte chipped in nine points in just 16 minutes of action.
A win by the Broncos would clinch an eighth-straight winning season.
