Perry Leads Broncos at Cowgirl Classic

FINAL RESULTS
MARICOPA, Ariz. – Senior Lexi Perry led the Boise State women's golf team at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic, finishing the three-round event in a tie for 25th, Tuesday.
Perry carded rounds of 76-74-74 (224, +8) at the par-72, 6,131-yard Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club, earning her third top-25 finish in four stroke play events this spring.
Boise State finished in seventh place as a team in the 20-school field, posting rounds of 301-299-304 (904, +40).
Freshman Elli Gordon (75-76-75—226, +10), senior Nicole Suppelsa (76-73-80—229, +13), freshman Emma Yang (74-82-75—231, +15) and junior Cora Mickelsen (84-76-80—240, +24) rounded out the scoring for the Broncos.
Suppelsa carded a team-high 12 birdies over the course of her three rounds.
Sophomore Elena Pany, competing as an individual, shot 74-78-84 (236, +20).
Next up for the Broncos is the 2021 Mountain West Championships, set for April 20-21, in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
