Boise State came up short in the final game of the season as the two teams combined for 24 hits while the Wolf Pack claimed the 9-6 victory.
The win gave Nevada the series victory over Boise State 2-1 as the Broncos finished the season at 20-25 overall and 11-13 in Mountain West Conference play to place fifth, while Nevada took third in the league standings at 16-8 and 24-16 overall on the year.

Seven Broncos recorded at least one hit led by Karlee Johnson, Ashley Adams, Bella Rocco, Jordyn Hutchins and Kelsey Lalor who all had two, while Jalen Ervin and Sara Johnson each had one.
For the most part, Boise State was able to answer Nevada in scoring for most of the game until late. The Wolf Pack opened the scoring with a run in the top of the first.
Boise State countered in the bottom half of the inning when Karlee Johnson — who opened the inning with a lead-off single — came home on a Rocco single to right center tying the score at 1-1.
Nevada regained its advantage in the top of the third when the Wolf Pack brought three runners across the plate.
The Blue and Orange regrouped in the bottom of the third, scoring three of its own to pull even again. It all started with two out when Adams hit a double down the right line. Rocco then singled to center field to bring Adams home. The next batter up was Hutchins who promptly sent her seventh homer — a two RBI shot — over the left field fence to tie the score at 4-4.
Nevada took the lead back with a run in the top of the fifth, then extended its advantage to three with two more in the sixth.
Once again the Broncos answered rallying with two runs in the bottom of the sixth to give themselves a chance. Hutchins opened with a lead-off single to center. Then with one out, Lalor singled to left followed by a fielder's choice which put Ervin on first and Hutchins on third.
Sara Johnson then sent a pinch-hit single to center, scoring Hutchins from third. Karlee Johnson then reached on an error which allowed Ervin to cross the plate and pull Boise State to within one at 7-6 heading into the seventh.
Unfortunately, Nevada struck for two more scores in the top of the seventh to take a 9-6 advantage over the Broncos. Boise State opened the seventh with a lead-off single by Adams, but the Broncos were unable to capitalize as they left a runner stranded to end the game and season.
