Harrington Nominated for AFCA Good Works Team

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State offensive lineman Donte Harrington is among the nominees for Allstate's 30th AFCA Good Works Team.
The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team was established in 1992 by the College Football Association and is one of the most coveted community service awards in college football, recognizing the extra efforts made by football student-athletes off the field.
To be considered for a spot on the AFCA Good Works Team, each player must be actively involved with a charitable organization or service group while maintaining a strong academic standing.
During the 2020 presidential election season, Harrington was an advocate for voter registration after realizing many of his teammates were interested in becoming registered voters but were unsure of how to navigate the process.
Harrington teamed up with the League of Women Voters of Idaho to organize a voter registration event. Through his efforts, the San Clemente, Calif., native helped 46 Boise State football players register to vote in Idaho and additional teammates register in their home states.
