Women’s Golf Announces 2021-22 Schedule

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's golf head coach Kailin Downs announced the team's 2021-22 schedule, which includes a full slate of tournaments in both the fall and spring for the first time in three years.
Downs is entering her first season at the helm of the Broncos' squad and will lead her team through four tournaments in the fall and five in the spring prior to the Mountain West Championships, which is set for April 18-20.
"I am looking forward to getting on the course and seeing this team compete," said Downs. "We have a great mix of events on our schedule and will match up against a variety of teams throughout the year."
The Broncos kick off their season Sept. 13-14 with a visit to Springville, Utah for the Hobble Creek Fall Classic. Then, they have two weeks off before playing three consecutive weeks during October.
The Blue and Orange will compete at the NM State Aggie Invitational Oct. 4-6 at the NMSU Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M. The following week, the Broncos will visit Tacoma, Wash., for the Seattle U Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational at the Tacoma Country Club Oct. 11-12. Boise State concludes its fall schedule Oct. 18-19 at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic in Fort Collins, Colo.
Play resumes for the spring segment of competition Feb. 14-15, as Boise State travels to Palm Desert, Calif., for the Mountain Classic Match Play, followed by the GCU Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz., Feb. 28-March 1 and the Fresno State Classic March 21-22 in Fresno, Calif.
The Broncos will conclude their regular season with a pair of tournaments in April. The Cowgirl Classic will be played at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Course in Maricopa, Ariz., April 4-5, and the Chambers Bay Invitational at the Chamber Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash., April 11-12.
Boise State looks to improve upon its eighth-place finish at the 2022 MW Championships. The tournament will be held at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif. for the 10th-straight year. (The 2020 MW Championships was canceled due to COVID-19).
