Dalmas Named Lou Groza Award “Star of the Week”

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State sophomore Jonah Dalmas was named a Lou Groza Award "Star of the Week" for his perfect kicking performance in Friday's victory over UTEP.

College football's top kicking award, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award presented by the Orange Bowl recognizes three top kickers each week from FBS division teams as the "Stars of the Week."

Dalmas was 4-for-4 on field goals, connecting from 39, 34, 29 and 27 yards out, and was 6-for-6 on extra points, contributing 18 points to the Broncos' 54-13 win over the Miners.

The Meridian, Idaho native is 12-for-13 in field goal attempts to begin his career. He has yet to miss a kick of any kind this season, and his 25 points lead Boise State and are tied for fourth among FBS kickers.
