
Broncos Suffer Loss in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – Essence Booker scored 28 points and UNLV defeated visiting Boise State 73-51, Thursday night.
The Lady Rebels (12-4, 4-1 Mountain West) raced out to a 16-5 lead after the first quarter as they held the Broncos (5-10, 1-3) to 1-for-10 shooting from the floor.
Booker had 19 points in the first half and UNLV led 35-17 at the break while limiting Boise State to 4-for-22 shooting in the opening half.
Dominique Leonidas led the Broncos with nine points. Trista Hull, Linsey Lovrovich and Abby Muse each added eight points and Hull grabbed nine boards.
Boise State concludes its road trip at San Diego State, Saturday at 1 p.m. PT/2 p.m. MT.
