SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Asia Avinger and Mallory Adams combined for 55 points and San Diego State defeated Boise State 80-63, Saturday afternoon.
Dominique Leonidas led Boise State (5-11, 1-4 MW) with 11 points and Trista Hull added 10.
The Broncos shot 53 percent, led by Anna Ostlie's seven points, but trailed 17-25 after the first quarter.
The Broncos trailed 32-40 at the break, despite shooting 45 percent from the field in the first half.
San Diego State (9-8, 3-3) took command in the third quarter by outscoring Boise State 24-14, behind nine points from Avinger.
The Broncos return home to host Wyoming, Jan. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
