USAFA, Colo. – Boise State volleyball fell 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-23) at Air Force on Thursday night in a Mountain West match. The loss moved the Broncos to 14-14 overall and 6-11 in conference play.

Boise State struggled early in the first sets and was forced to play from behind nearly the entire way in both periods as the Falcons claimed a 2-0 match lead.

The third set saw the Broncos battle to an eight-point advantage, but they could not hold Air Force off down the stretch as the Falcons rallied to win the third by two at 25-23.

In the match, AFA outhit the Broncos .563 percent to .167 percent.

Top Broncos

Paige Bartsch led Boise State with 14 kills, two service aces and one block assist to finish with a team-high 16.5 points.
Jordan Miller added eight kills while hitting .316 percent and had two block assists.
Annie Kaminski – the MW leader in hitting percentage – hit a team-high .600 percent for seven kills on 10 attacks.

Notables

Bartsch recorded her 23rd match this season with double-digit kills.
Kaminski has 13 matches hitting .400 percent or better this season, eight over .500 percent with a season-high of .667 against Southern Utah.
