Broncos Fall to Bison in First Game of Nugget Classic

Reno, Nev. – Trista Hull's season-high 12 points wasn't enough as Boise State fell to North Dakota State 68-53, Friday, in its first game at the Nugget Classic.
The Bison (5-0) jumped out to a 15-7 lead in the first quarter, but the Broncos (3-3) cut the lead to four with lockdown defense. North Dakota State led by as much as 12 in the second quarter, but Boise State once again fought back to cut the defecit to five at the break.
After playing only two minutes in the first half due to foul trouble, Elodie Lalotte scored six straight points for the Broncos to get within four. North Dakota State kept pushing the pace, ending the third quarter on a 9-2 run to take a 17-point lead into the final quarter. The Broncos managed to cut the lead to 13, but the Bison held on to clinch the victory.

- Trista Hull led the team in scoring, finishing with a team-high 12 points. Hull went 3-of-4 from the floor and made six of her eight free throw attempts.
- Elodie Lalotte added 10 points, shooting 5-of-9 from the floor.
- Abby Muse was a force on the boards, recording a season-high 12 rebounds on the night. Muse also finished with four blocks, tying her season-high.
