BOISE, Idaho – Former Boise State linebacker Korey Hall will cap a memorable weekend when he raises the Blue Chaos Flag, Saturday prior to the Broncos taking on BYU at 5 p.m.
Hall starred for the Broncos from 2003-06 and will be inducted into the Boise State Hall of Fame, Friday night.
He earned All-America Second Team accolades from the Sporting News as a senior. That season, he was the WAC Defensive Player of the Year and helped lead Boise State to an undefeated record and victory in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl.
As a sophomore, Hall and current Boise State Head Coach Andy Avalos each were named All-WAC at linebacker. Hall repeated as a first-team selection in his junior and senior campaigns.
He finished his career with 394 tackles and still ranks fourth on Boise State's career list in that category.
In 2007, Hall was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round and converted to fullback. He spent four seasons with the Packers and, along with fellow Boise State alumnus Daryn Colledge, won a ring in Super Bowl XLV.
Hall played his final season with the New Orleans Saints in 2011.
