Boise State Opens Season in Historic Fashion

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State defeated Multnomah 121-64 in the opening game of its season, Monday, breaking a school record for points scored in a single game.
The Broncos (1-0) raced out of the gates, leading the Lions 23-8 midway through the first quarter. The team didn't let off the gas in the first half and took a 68-34 lead into the break, with four players having already reached double figures.
The team continued the pace in the second-half, outscoring Multnomah 53-30 over the final two periods, including a 3-pointer from Linsey Lovrovich with 48 seconds left to break the previous scoring record of 117.
