USAFA, Colo. – Riley Snyder scored 26 points to lead Air Force to a 77-63 victory over visiting Boise State, Tuesday.
Dominique Leonidas led the Broncos (8-17, 4-10 Mountain West) with 12 points. Jayda Clark and Elodie Lalotte each added 10 points for Boise State and Lalotte pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.
Boise State led 23-20 after the first quarter behind eight points from Leonidas. Seven different Broncos scored and Boise State posted its largest point total in the opening quarter of a conference game this season on the strength of 63-percent shooting from the field.
Clark and Mary Kay Naro each made a 3-pointer to give Boise State its largest lead of the first half at 29-22 with 8:38 left before intermission. The Broncos led 33-27 before the Falcons (14-11, 8-6) closed the first half on an 11-2 run to go on top 38-35.
Air Force seized control in the third quarter by outscoring Boise State 23-13 to take a 61-48 lead. The Broncos committed 10 turnover in the period after having just five in the first half.
The Broncos play their final regular season road game, Saturday at New Mexico. Game time is 1 p.m.
