Broncos to Participate in The Battleground2k22

Boise State will face Texas A&M at the neutral-site matchup
FORT WORTH, Texas – Boise State men's basketball will participate in The Battleground 2k22, Dec. 3, at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The Broncos will open the early-season doubleheader against Texas A&M. That game will be followed by Houston and Saint Mary's.
The event will be presented by the U-Sports Group.
Boise State and Texas A&M are also scheduled to appear at the Myrtle Beach Classic, Nov. 17-20, with both programs placed on opposite ends of the bracket.
The backdrop for The Battleground 2k22 will be a community campaign called the [a3] Initiative. The [a3] Initiative, in connection with U-Sports Group, will strive to blur the lines between sport and service, inspiring the participating student-athletes to use their talent, notoriety and influence to improve the lives of children who are less-fortunate.

"We are very excited about The Battleground 2k22 and the opportunity that this premier sporting event presents to combine great competition with community in Fort Worth," U-Sports Group President Rhossi Carron says. "This event will focus on empowering and improving the lives of kids in the local community and helping the participating student-athletes develop their passion for giving back in a genuine way. We look forward to utilizing The Battleground 2k22 basketball platform to impact the lives of children in the DFW Metroplex."

Tickets for The Battleground 2k22 will go on sale Friday, September 16th, at 9 a.m. MT and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com or at the Dickies Arena Box Office. Game times and television specifications will be released at a later date as well.
