BOISE, Idaho - Boise State volleyball will debut new orange jerseys Thursday, for its Leukemia Awareness Night at Bronco Gym against New Mexico. The new uniforms are another element of Boise State's celebration of Blood Cancer Awareness Month and junior outside hitter Kayly Pau's battle with leukemia, which is now in remission. Fans are encouraged to also wear orange - the color representing leukemia awareness.

The new jerseys were unveiled on the official Boise State volleyball social media channels with a video narrated by Pau. In addition to the symbolic color, the new Nike tops feature a message emblazoned inside the hem that encapsulates Pau's spirit: "Be Brave."

A special-edition orange replica jersey shirt featuring Pau's name and number can be purchased through the end of September. The shirt vendor will direct all proceeds from the sale of the shirts toward offsetting Pau's out-of-pocket medical expenses.

First serve Thursday is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT. Tickets to the match are available via BroncoSports.com/tickets. The first 200 fans will receive orange rally towels and commemorative wristbands will be available.
