CHICAGO – Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty was named to the 2022 College Football News Freshman All-Bowl Team following his performance in the Frisco Bowl (Dec. 17), CFN announced earlier this month.
He was the lone student-athlete from the Group of Five to earn a spot on the offensive all-bowl team.
Jeanty rushed for a Frisco Bowl record, Bronco postseason record and career-high 178 yards in Boise State's 35-32 victory over North Texas.
Playing in Frisco, Texas where he starred at Lone Star High School, Jeanty scored his seventh-career touchdown. His score came from one yard out on a fourth down with 12:05 left in the game and put the Broncos ahead 35-24.
