TYLER, Texas – Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty has been named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Honorable Mention list, the Tyler Chamber and SPORTyler announced.

Jeanty ran for a career-high 212 yards and scored three touchdowns against Colorado State. This was his second 200-yard rushing performance of the season, with the first coming against San Diego State on Sept. 22. He is the first Bronco to have multiple games with 200+ rushing yards in a single season since Alexander Mattison in 2018. With his performance, the sophomore became the fifth Bronco to run for over 200 yards against Colorado State, joining Mattison, Doug Martin, Jay Ajayi, and Jeremy McNichols.

Jeanty added a team-high five receptions for 42 yards, including 52 yards after catch. His total of 254 all-purpose yards matches his previous career-high, achieved against San Diego State. The sophomore leads the FBS in all-purpose yards (1,264) and total touchdowns (15) while ranking second nationally in rushing yards (868).

This is the second time Jeanty has been named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Honorable Mention list this season. Boise State has had a player named to the list on five occasions this season, with Eric McAlister garnering honors twice and Taylen Green earning them once.

The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, announced in 2012 by the Tyler Chamber and SPORTyler, recognizes the top offensive player in Division I football who also exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community, and tenacity; specifically, tenacity to persist and determination to overcome adversity and injury in pursuit of reaching goals. In addition, the nominee must meet one or more of the following criteria: born in Texas and/or graduated from a Texas High School and/or played at a Texas-based junior college or four-year D1 Texas college.
