
MacMillan Named MW Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State forward Kenzie MacMillan was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
MacMillan received the honor following her two-goal performance in the Broncos' 3-1 win over the reigning MW champions, Wyoming.
The Blue and Orange opened the scoring when a pass by Carly Cross found the feet of MacMillan for a goal in the 13th minute against the Cowgirls. The junior knocked in her second goal of the match, fifth of the season, in the 62nd minute of the match.
In Boise State's 4-1 win over Colorado State, MacMillan recorded an assist when Sophie Drown scored on a header to square the match 1-1.
The Mission Viejo, Calif., native leads the active roster in total career points and total career goals with 33 and 12, respectively. MacMillan also leads the league with six assists, tying for seventh most in a single season in program history.
The Broncos will travel to San Diego and Albuquerque, N.M., to face San Diego State on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. MT and New Mexico on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 12:30 p.m. MT, respectively.
