COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Crenshaw earned the honor for her defensive efforts against Nevada and UNLV, helping the Broncos to a 2-0-0 record on the week. The senior made seven saves on eight shots on goal and played the full 90 minutes of each match. She also helped the Broncos record their fourth shutout of the season and second in conference play.

With the shutout against UNLV, Crenshaw now has a program-record 19 career shutouts. The victory guarantees the Broncos will finish the regular season no lower than third place in the MW.

The Broncos will close the regular season in Boise against Utah State on Thursday at 7 p.m., at Boas Soccer Complex. If Boise State wins its final match against Utah State, it will clinch at least a share of the regular-season title and a bye in the conference tournament.
