FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Boise State volleyball came up short in Fort Collins, Colo., on Saturday, falling 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-16) to the Colorado State Rams in Moby Arena.Â

Set one saw Colorado State go on an 8-0 run down the stretch to take the frame 25-16 from the Broncos.

The second set was close early. Tied at 11, the Broncos fell victim to an 8-1 Rams run and never recovered, eventually falling 25-14.Â

The third frame also saw the Broncos victimized by a large CSU run as the Rams broke an 8-8 tie with a 9-3 run that put the set and match out of reach for Boise State, coming up on the short end of a 25-16 score. Â
Top Broncos
- Paige Bartsch led the way with 10 kills, nine digs, one block assist and 10.5 points.Â
- Noelani Helm recorded a double-double on team-highs for assists with 21 and digs (tied) with 12.
- Breanna Mitchell tied Helm for the lead in digs with 12 of her own.Â
Notables
- Bartsch has recorded double-figure kills in 21 of 22 contests this season and led the Broncos in kills for the 21st time and points for the 20th time.
- Helm recorded her team-leading 10th double-double.
- Mitchell now has 15 matches with double-digit digs and has led the team in digs 14th times.Â
- With the loss, Boise State moved to 11-11 overall and 7-5 in conference play.Â

Boise State returns home for a big two-match homestand this coming week when they host the New Mexico Lobos at 7 p.m. on Thursday, followed by the Air Force Falcons at noon on Saturday.Â
