
Balanced Attack Steers Broncos to Win Over Wildcats

BOISE, Idaho – Four Broncos finished in double figures to lead Boise State to a 76-47 victory over Weber State Monday evening in ExtraMile Arena.
After conceding the first basket of the game to the Wildcats (0-3), a Mya Hansen jump shot became the first of 13 consecutive points for the Broncos (2-0). Dani Bayes and Tatum Thompson combined for 12 points in the quarter as Boise State led 25-9 after one.
The Wildcats (0-3) fought back, cutting the lead to 11 early in the second period. The Broncos didn't back down, outscoring Weber State 15-2 over the rest of the quarter to take a 45-21 lead into the break.
Hansen helped Boise State stretch the lead in the second half, recording six points and two assists in the third quarter. Elodie Lalotte and Natalie Pasco scored the first nine points of the final period as Boise State cruised to its second victory on the season.
