Broncos Continue Homestand Against Highlanders

WHAT'S NEXT

Boise State women's basketball will take on UC Riverside, Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 6:30 p.m. MT at ExtraMile Arena. The game will be broadcast on the MW Network and on 670 KBOI AM.
 

THE OPPONENT

UC Riverside enters Wednesday's matchup having lost its first two games of the season, losing 78-55 to SMU and 90-52 to UCLA. The Highlanders are led by the dynamic duo of Jordan Webster (21.0 points per game) and Matehya Bryant (16.5 points per game). It is the second meeting between the two programs, with Boise State winning 68-58 on Nov. 27, 2011.
 

LAST TIME OUT

The Broncos (2-0) cruised past Weber State (0-3) on Monday, defeating the Wildcats 76-47. The 29-point margin of victory was the largest Boise State has had over Weber State. Four Broncos scored in double figures, with sophomore Dani Bayes leading the way with 13 points.
 

CAREER GAMES

Mya Hansen and Dani Bayes set career-highs against the Wildcats. Hansen dished out a career-high seven assists while Bayes was aggressive defensively, recording a career-high four steals.
 

CLIMBING THE RANKS

Senior Abby Muse is making her mark. The program's career-block leader with 172, Muse needs eight blocks to move into the top five all-time in Mountain West history. Head coach Gordy Presnell is also chasing milestones, needing just three more victories to reach 200 career wins at ExtraMile Arena.
