Presnell Wins 200th Home Game in Victory Over UC Davis

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State hit six 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to pull away from UC Davis, winning 70-53, Wednesday, at ExtraMile Arena. The win marked the 200th home victory for Gordy Presnell as the head coach of the Broncos.
The Broncos (6-1) started out strong, forcing five Aggie (2-4) turnovers in the first seven minutes to jump out to a 14-0 lead. UC Davis brought itself back into the game quickly, ending the quarter on a 11-1 run to cut the deficit to four at the end of the first.
Natalie Pasco scored the first eight Bronco points of the second quarter to extend the Boise State lead to 23-13. The Aggies stormed back again, cutting the lead to 29-26 at the halftime break.
Elodie Lalotte and Pasco combined for 11 of Boise State's 19 third quarter points, but the Broncos couldn't distance themselves from the Aggies, leading 48-42 entering the final period.
Mya Hansen and Linsey Lovrovich found each other on back-to-back 3-pointers to start the fourth quarter to give Boise State a 12-point lead. Hansen, Pasco and Mary Kay Naro combined to add four more 3-pointers in the quarter, extending the lead by as much as 20 as the Broncos cruised to a 17-point victory.Â
