BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's golf head coach Kailin Downs announced the addition of Brooke Patterson to the team's 2024-25 signing class.
Patterson, a native of Eagle, Idaho, will join the Broncos after playing for Cincinnati since 2022. She will be eligible to compete when the 2024-25 campaign begins.
"We are thrilled to bring Brooke back to Boise to be a Bronco! She has a fiery, competitive personality and I am excited to see the difference she can make in our program," said Downs. "It is always great to have local talent represent the Blue and Orange."
Patterson played in 15 events for Cincinnati, averaging 76.8 strokes per round. She placed in the top 20 on three occasions, including a 10th-place finish at the Brickyard Classic in 2023. At the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, Patterson was named a WGCA All-American Scholar. She ranked second on the Bearcats with an average of 76.5 strokes per round during Fall 2023 events.
A graduate of Eagle HS, Patterson was a four-time Player of the Year and finished in the top three at all four state tournaments. She was also a four-time selection for All-Conference, All-State, and Academic All-State honors. As a sophomore, she won the Idaho State Women's Amateur title. She represented Idaho on the Girls Junior America's Cup team for three years and was an Honor Roll student for four years.
The Broncos resume the 2023-24 season on Monday, Feb. 12, competing in the three-day Mountain Classic Match Play in Palm Desert, Calif. Boise State will play in four additional events before heading to Rancho Mirage, Calif., on April 16 for the 2024 MW Championship.
