BOISE, Idaho – Boise State beach volleyball announced its 2024 schedule, head coach Allison Voigt announced on Wednesday.

The Broncos' schedule consists of 36 regular-season matches, the most in program history, and features matches against eight teams who finished last season in the Top 20 of the AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll. Boise State will face off against Grand Canyon (No. 9), Hawaii (No. 10), Georgia State (No. 14), Washington (No. 15), South Carolina (No. 17), Tulane (No. 18), Pepperdine (No. 19) and Arizona (No. 20) over the course of the season.

The 2024 season will also mark the team's second season as members of the Southland Conference. Per SLC requirements, Boise State will compete in two conference tournaments during the season: a midseason tournament (March 22-24) in New Orleans, La., and the conference championship (April 19-21) in Houston, Texas.

"We're really excited for the level of competition that we have in front of us," Voigt said. "We've been a really good program the last couple of years. Our biggest priority when laying out the schedule this spring was playing more Top 20 programs. We've been knocking on that door of being a Top 20 program ourselves and we want to see how we do against that level. We want to go into our conference championship playing at the highest possible level."

For the second-straight season, Boise State will kick off its season, Feb. 23-24, at the Cactus Classic in Tucson, Ariz. The Broncos will face Arizona (host), Cal State Bakersfield, Colorado Mesa and San Francisco at the two-day event. The next day, the team will travel to Phoenix, Ariz., to face both Grand Canyon and Stephen F. Austin.

The Blue and Orange will head to Malibu, Calif., March 1-2, to face Pepperdine (host), Arizona, San Francisco and Vanguard. Boise State will then travel to Hawaii for a three-day tournament, March 7-9, featuring matches against Hawaii (host), Chaminade, Nebraska, Pepperdine and Saint Mary's.

The Broncos will play their first conference match of the season at the Sugar Beach Bass, March 15-16, against Southeastern Louisiana. The squad will also compete in nonconference matches against South Carolina, Tulane and UAB.

Boise State will wrap up its conference matches, March 22-24, at the SLC Midseason Tournament in New Orleans, La. The Broncos will compete against Houston Christian, McNeese State, New Orleans, Nicholls State, San Jose State and defending SLC Champion, Texas A&M Corpus-Christi.

The Blue and Orange will welcome Oregon and UC Davis to the Boise State Classic, March 29-30. Boise State will honor its five seniors during the two-day event at the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex.

The team will then head up to Caldwell, Idaho, on April 2 for a match against College of Idaho and an exhibition match against College of Southern Idaho. The Broncos will return to their home courts on Wednesday, April 10, for a tri-dual against Arizona and Saint Mary's.

Following the midweek home matches, the Broncos will have one day off before heading to Alki Beach in Seattle, Wash., for the final event of the regular season. Boise State will compete against Washington (host), Georgia State, Oregon and Portland at the two-day event, April 12-13.

The Blue and Orange will then compete at the Southland Conference Championship, April 19-21, in Houston, Texas. All eight SLC teams will compete in a double-elimination tournament to determine a conference champion. The winner will also earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship, which takes place May 3-5 in Gulf Shores, Ala.

Boise State lost just one player from last year's team that finished with the best season in program history, recording an overall record of 25-10 and finishing in second place at the SLC Tournament.
