Lopez Named Bars Specialist of the Week

LOGAN, Utah – Boise State gymnast Emily Lopez was named the MRGC Bars Specialist of the Week following her performance in the Broncos' dominant win at Utah State (Feb. 10), the conference announced Monday.
The junior secured the victory on bars with an impressive 9.950, the highest score across all four events. The mark was a season best and tied her career-high performance.
This is Lopez's eighth MRGC Specialist of the Week award this season and her third nod on bars.
Next, Boise State celebrates its five seniors, as it welcomes BYU to ExtraMile Arena, Friday, Feb. 17. The Broncos and the Cougars are scheduled to begin competition at 7 p.m.
