BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State softball program added former Arkansas pitcher Jenna Bloom to its roster Friday, head coach Justin Shults announced.
Bloom spent three seasons at Arkansas (2020-22), with the 2020 season being cut short due to COVID-19. She pitched a total of 101 1/3 innings in 35 games with 16 starts, winning 19 games in the circle for the Razorbacks with 119 strikeouts and a 3.66 ERA.
"We're very excited to have Jenna [Bloom] as a Bronco for the next two years," said Shults. "She comes from a great family and is going to be a huge addition to our pitching staff. Her competitive drive and selfless mentality will be a great fit here in Boise."
In her freshman year, Bloom appeared in 16 games with seven starts, pitching one complete game and earning three saves. She recorded an ERA of 3.21 with 68 strikeouts in 43 2/3 innings pitched.
