BOISE, Idaho – Boise State beach volleyball released its 2023 fall schedule, head coach Allison Voigt announced on Wednesday.

The 2023 season marks the second season that NCAA beach volleyball will compete in the fall. Per NCAA rules, competition in the fall will consist solely of pairs tournaments while the spring season will use a dual format.

"We are very excited about our fall season this year," Voigt said. "Our fall season is all about how we can individually get better. We have some exciting competition coming up and I'm excited to see how we compete and keep growing."

The Broncos' fall schedule consists of four tournaments and a bid for one pair to compete at the AVCA National Pairs Championship.

The Broncos will open the season in Seattle, Wash. when Washington hosts the Alki Pairs Tournament, Oct. 7-8. Two weeks later, Boise State will host the second annual City of Trees Pairs Classic at the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex, Oct. 21-22.
The team will travel to Huntington Beach, Calif., the following weekend for the Relentless Collegiate Challenge, Oct. 28-29.

Boise State will close out its season with two concurrent events. One pair will compete at the AVCA National Pairs Championship in Huntsville, Ala., Nov. 3-5, while the remainder of the team will travel to Grand Canyon to compete at the Best of the Rest Pairs Tournament in Phoenix, Ariz.

Voigt returns for her sixth season as the head coach of the squad after winning a program-record 25 matches and leading the team to a second-place finish at the Southland Conference Championship a season ago.
