Cross Claims MW Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State forward Carly Cross was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Cross earned the honor following her hat trick performance in the Broncos' 4-3 win against Eastern Washington, Sept. 3. She is the first Bronco to record a hat trick since Raimee Sherle did it against New Mexico on Nov. 7, 2019 and sixth all-time in fastest to three goals in a single match by one player. Cross now has four goals on the season and six total career goals.Â
The Blue and Orange will host Pac-12 opponent Oregon on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 5 p.m. at Boas Soccer Complex to close out nonconference play.
