BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's women's soccer team has added defender Lexi Lerwick to the 2026 roster from Miami. Lerwick played club soccer for PacNW soccer club and attended Kennedy Catholic High School.

"I know I speak for everybody within the staff when I say how happy we are that Lexi Lerwick's career has gone full circle to end here as a Bronco. Lexi is a player we've been impressed by and coveted for many years. We couldn't be more excited to have her join us for another championship run in 2026. She is an exceptional ball distributor with an incredible personality. She is going to bolster an (already) equipped defense and (immediately) act as a wonderful role model for (our) younger and incoming Broncos." -Boise State Head Coach Jim Thomas

Lerwick comes to Boise State with one year of NCAA eligibility. As a redshirt junior with the Hurricanes, she appeared in 14 matches including five starts.

Prior to her time at Miami, the Des Moines, Washington native made 18 starts with Oregon and was part of a backline that recorded five shutouts. She played 1,601 of a possible 1,620 minutes for the Ducks in 2024. Lerwick also spent two seasons at Washington State where she appeared in four contests as a freshman before redshirting in 2023.

In her prep career, she recorded four goals and three assists for 11 points. She was a two-sport athlete who participated in basketball.

The 5-foot-9 defender, will be joined by Sacramento State transfer Dalen Lau and returners Kaitlyn Slocum and Siena Zunino on a strong backline.
