Broncos Travel to Air Force and New Mexico
- This week, the Broncos (6-6, 2-0 MW) are on the road for the second week of Mountain West play, traveling to Air Force (10-3, 2-0 MW) on Thursday and New Mexico (9-4, 1-1 MW) on Saturday.Â

The Broncos
- Boise State takes its four-match wins streak, 6-6 overall record and 2-0 league on the road this week.
- Last week the Broncos opened conference with a pair of hard-fought victories over Colorado State (3-2) and Wyoming (3-1).
- The Broncos return four starters from 2022 in Bartsch (Jr., OPP), Annie Kaminski (Sr., MB), Jordan Miller (Jr., OH), Chey Day (Sr., MB).
- Bartsch is a 2023 Preseason All-Mountain West selection and was a 2022 All-MW honoree and the 2021 MW Freshman of the Year, while Kaminski was a 2022 All-MW Honorable Mention and the spring 2021 MW Newcomer of the Year.
- In all, Boise State returned nine student-athletes from the 2022 campaign while adding seven newcomers, three transfers and four freshmen.

Bartsch Honored as MW Offensive Player of the Week
- Paige Bartsch was named this week's MW Offensive Player of the Week after a record-breaking week against the Rams and Cowgirls. She recorded seven aces against Colorado State, breaking a program record for most aces in the rally scoring era. She also netted 24 kills against the Rams, totaling 33 points in the match.
- The Helena, Mont., native followed up with a career-high 30 kills against Wyoming. Bartsch also put up a solid defensive showing against the Cowgirls, piling up 10 digs in a dominant 3-1 victory.
Bartsch 1-2-3
- Bartsch tallied 6.0 kills per set on a .239 hitting percentage over the two matches last week. She also racked up 18 digs (2.00 per set) and 10 service aces (1.11 per set). Entering the Air Force and New Mexico road trip this week, the junior leads the nation in aces per set (0.76), is second nationally in points per set (6.14), and ranks third in kills per set (5.16).
The Air Force Match
- Air Force enters the week at 10-3 overall and 2-0 in league play.
- Last week they defeated Fresno State 3-1 and Nevada 3-0 on the road.
- Boise State leads the all-time series 18-6 and the MW series 16-6.
- Last year, the home team won each encounter by 3-0 scores.
The New Mexico Match
- The Lobos enter the week at 9-4 overall and 1-1 in league.
- Last week UNM won 3-2 at Nevada, then fell 3-1 at Fresno State.
