BOULDER, Colo. – Boise State men's golf shot 18-under par to finish seventh at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, Tuesday at the Colorado National Golf Club. This marks the lowest score in relation to par for the program since Fall 2021.

Cole Rueck (-5), Gavyn Knight (-5) and Jake Slocum (-4) shot under-par on the week to finish in the top 30, while Boise State had 10 rounds at par-or-better as a group.

The Broncos finished seventh in a deep, 19-team field.

"This was a good week. Aside from about seven holes in the first round, these guys played rock solid," said head coach David Trainor. "In a perfect world, I would love to have them back and see what we could have done."
All five guys contributed this week, and that is very encouraging," said Trainor. "The most exciting thing is that we still have room to improve. I'm looking forward to next weekend in Corvallis!"

Boise State shot 18-under par – the lowest score in relation to par for the program since firing 28-under par at the Ka'anapali Classic in 2021-22.
The Broncos finished ahead of fellow Mountain West opponents Utah State and Air Force on the team leaderboard.
Boise State shot under-par as a team in all three rounds.
Every golfer in the lineup had at least one round at par-or-better and combined for 10 such rounds.
Three golfers finished under-par for the second time this season.
