
Four Broncos to Compete at Mountain West Fall Qualifiers

- WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State women's tennis will be represented in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the first edition of the Mountain West Fall Qualifiers Oct. 2-5.
- WHO'S IN: The Broncos will send two doubles pairs as part of the event - Dutta and Safarova will compete after competing in the ITA All-American Championships in North Carolina last week, while Marruffo and Schaefer will continue their partnership. Additionally, Dutta, Safarova and Schaefer will all compete in the singles draw.
- THE FIELD AND FORMAT: Individual athletes from each MW school will compete in the three-day event. Both the singles and doubles brackets are single-elimination. The singles tournament features 32 players, while the doubles competition includes 15 pairs, with one team receiving an automatic bye.
- COMPETITION TIMES: Doubles play will begin at 10:30 a.m. MT, and will be followed by singles.
- WHAT'S AT STAKE: The winners of the doubles and singles bracket will earn a direct qualification into the ITA Conference Masters Championships, Nov. 7-10, in San Diego, California.
- REVAMPED FALL FORMAT: For the first time in NCAA history, individual champions will be crowned in the fall, as the NCAA Individual Championships are set for Nov. 19-24 in Waco, Texas.
