
Lake's Homer Earns Tie in Game 1 of Fall World Series

BOISE, Idaho - Senior Megan Lake's solo home run in the bottom of the seventh earned Team Blue a 4-4 tie with Team Orange in Game 1 of the 2024 Boise State Softball Fall World Series.
Sophomores Sophia Knight (Team Orange) and Skylar Stroh (Team Blue) were each 3-for-3 with Knight collecting a double and adding a walk.
Sophomore Leah McAnally was 2-for-3 with a home run for Team Orange while her battery mate senior Brook Thompson recorded four strikeouts in two innings of work in the circle.
Game 2 is Friday with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m. at Dona Larsen Park. The event is free and open to the public.
