WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State women's basketball will compete in the Gulf Coast Showcase, a three-day tournament at Hertz Arena in Fort Myers, Fla. The Broncos will open against Illinois State on Friday, Nov. 29, at 9 a.m. MT, and will either face High Point or No. 12 West Virginia on Saturday. All games will be broadcast on FloHoops and 670 KBOI AM.

COMPLETE DOMINATION: Boise State had a complete showing on Sunday in ExtraMile Arena, dismantling Weber State 96-46. The 50-point margin of victory was the largest margin of victory against a Division I opponent in program history, and the 10th 50+ point win. The Broncos drilled 15 3-pointers in the victory, tied for the third-most in a single game in program history.

HISTORIC START: The Broncos have started 6-0 for the seventh time in program history and the third time under head coach Gordy Presnell. The Broncos last started a season 6-0 in 2016-17, when they won their first eight contests. Boise State has won six games in a row for the first time since rattling off a 13-game win streak from Feb. 12, 2020 - Jan. 2, 2021.

DEFENSIVE PROWESS: The Broncos rank in the top 10 defensively across the nation in two categories. As of Wednesday morning, Boise State is third in the nation in 3-point percentage defense as opposing teams shoot 18.0% from beyond the arc. The Blue and Orange also rank ninth as a team in blocks per game (7.4). Individually, Abby Muse sits at fifth in total blocks (21) and sixth in blocks per game (3.5). Entering the event with 283 career blocks, the program's career blocked shots leader also needs one block to double the 142 career blocks of Stephanie Block (1996-2000), who sits in second place in program history.

IT TAKES A TEAM: Boise State also ranks eighth nationally in bench production, averaging 37.0 bench points per contest. The Broncos have scored 20+ bench points in all six games on the season, including three games with 40+ bench points. The Broncos scored a season-high 62 bench points against College of Idaho.

ON A ROLL: Tatum Thompson has scored in double figures in four consecutive games, matching her longest streak (Feb. 21, 2024 - March 2, 2024). The junior also matched her career-high with a trio of 3-pointers against Weber State, finishing the game with 15 points. She has also been efficient from the free throw line, making 20 of her 22 attempts (90.1%) on the season.

THE OPPONENT: The matchup against the Redbirds will be the first one in program history. Both teams enter Friday's matchup with a win over a Power 4 opponent – Boise State defeated Colorado, 50-47, on Nov. 10 while Illinois State pulled out a road win over Northwestern, 81-77, on Nov. 6. The Redbirds are 2-2 on the year and are coming off a 10-point loss to Harvard. Illinois State has four players scoring in double figures, led by Elyce Knudsen with 17.5 points per game.

THE FIELD: High Point or No. 12 West Virginia awaits the Broncos on Saturday, depending on Friday's results. Butler, New Mexico State, Santa Clara and No. 6 Texas round out the eight-team field.
