BOISE, Idaho – Genevieve Crenshaw, Carly Cross and Morgan Padour were named to the United Soccer Coaches Women's All-Pacific Region First Team, while Avery McBride earned second team honors, the organization announced Tuesday.
Â
The United Soccer Coaches All-Region identifies and recognizes the top players in the NCAA. All players are nominated by their respective head coaches, with opposing head coaches voting for the selective teams.
Â
Crenshaw, an All-Mountain West First Team and MW All-Tournament selection, earned the sole goalkeeper spot on the All-Pacific Region First Team list. The fifth year boasted 71 saves and nine shutouts on the season and led the Broncos to a regular season championship. The goalkeeper has made a significant impact for Boise State, holding the program's career records for goals against average (0.83), wins (42), shutouts (29) and goalkeeper minutes played (6,735).
Â
Cross was crowned MW Offensive Player of the Year, the first Bronco to do so since Raimee Sherle in 2018. The senior also earned All-MW First Team and MW All-Tournament distinctions as she posted 11 goals and five assists for 27 points on the season. She helped lead Boise State to 16 wins, the second most all-time, by recording a team-high four match-winning goals. She is the only MW forward to earn an All-Pacific Region accolade this season.
Â
Padour, a fifth year out of Puyallup, Washington, posted season career bests in goals and points as she notched eight goals for 16 points. She logged 1,875 minutes, including 14 full 90-minute matches- both the most by a Bronco field position player. She ended her career with 95 matches played, tied for the most in program history. Padour adds All-Pacific Region to her MW Second Team and MW All-Tournament Team distinctions she earned this season as well.
Â
McBride started in 21 matches this season and recorded six goals and four assists for 16 points. She was honored as a two-time MW Offensive Player of the Week for her multi-goal matches against UC Riverside (Aug. 29) and Southern Utah (Sept. 15), the only Bronco to earn multiple this season. Her second team all-region honor marks the first of her career.
