WHAT'S NEXT: Coming off its final conference bye, Boise State men's basketball enters the final stretch of the campaign as it returns to action against Fresno State, Saturday, at ExtraMile Arena. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

LAST TIME OUT: Tyson Degenhart posted team highs in points (17) and rebounds (8) at No. 22/21 Utah State last Saturday in an 80-61 loss. The Broncos shot below 36% from the field in its largest loss of the season.

SERIES HISTORY: Boise State is going for its fifth-straight win against Fresno State, having won the last four meetings dating back to Dec. 28, 2021. A win on Saturday would be the longest win streak over the Bulldogs in the series history. Four-straight wins is tied with a stretch from Jan. 30, 2010 to Dec. 19, 2011.

CRUNCH TIME: Despite last Saturday's loss in Logan, the Broncos are still alive in the hunt for a Mountain West title. With seven games remaining on the schedule, Boise State's next stretch of four games are all against the teams currently occupying the
last four spots in the conference standings: Fresno State, San Jose State, Wyoming and Air Force.

LOOKING TO BOUNCE BACK: A win on Saturday would avoid the first three-game losing streak for Boise State since a four-game losing streak from Feb. 25 to March 11 in the 2020-21 season.

BY THE NUMBERS:
·       30: Boise State has had two different players score 30 points in a conference game this season. O'Mar Stanley scored 30 points at San Jose State (Jan. 5) and Max Rice scored 35 points at New Mexico (Jan. 31). The last time that occurred was in 2017-18, when Christian Sengfelder (31- San Jose State, Jan. 24) and Chandler Hutchison (44- San Diego State, Jan.13; 32- UNLV; Dec. 30) each had 30-point outings.
·       17.1: The Broncos are outscoring opponents by 17.1 points per game at home this season (81.0 to 63.9). Boise State has six 20-point wins at home.
·       300: Max Rice is one point shy of crossing the 300-point threshold in 2023-24. That would give Boise State at least four, 300-point scorers for the third-consecutive season.
·       70: Since the 2021-22 season, Boise State has held opponents to 70 or fewer points in 70 games. That mark is 13th in the country in that stretch.
·       170: Boise State announced the launch of the Project 170 Public Challenge this week: to have an announced attendance of 170,000 during the 2023-24 men's basketball season.
·       19th: Boise State's strength of schedule according to KenPom ranks 19th in the country this season. Within the Mountain West only San Diego State's strength of schedule ranks higher than the Broncos'.
