WHAT'S AT STAKE

The Lady Rebels (24-2, 14-1 MW) clinched the MW regular season title on Saturday while the Broncos (19-9, 10-5 MW) are currently tied for second place with New Mexico. Boise State has beaten the Lobos twice this season and holds the tiebreaker. San Diego State and Wyoming sit a game behind the two teams with a 9-6 conference record.

LAST TIME OUT

The Broncos picked up their second-straight victory on Saturday against Fresno State, winning 70-65 in ExtraMile Arena. Natalie Pasco scored 11 of her team-high 20 points in the fourth quarter, and Boise State shot 14-of-18 from the free throw line during the final frame to stave off a Bulldog comeback attempt.

THE OPPONENT

UNLV is led by Desi-Rae Young, who averages 19.0 points and 9.6 rebounds a game. Kiara Jackson also poses a threat, scoring 11.4 points and dishing out 4.7 assists per game. The Lady Rebels present the best scoring offense (79.1 points per game), field goal percentage (45.4%), scoring margin (+18.2), rebounding margin (+9.2) and assists per game (15.0) in the conference.

CLASH OF STYLES

While UNLV has the firepower on the offensive side of the ball, Boise State holds the line defensively. The Broncos lead the league in scoring defense (57.2 points per game), field goal percentage defense (35.8%) and 3-point field goal percentage defense (28.4%). Additionally, Boise State is ranked second nationally with 6.5 blocks per game, and individually Abby Muse is ranked fourth with 3.0.

750 CLUB

Head coach Gordy Presnell enters Wednesday's contest with 749 career wins, needing one more to become the 30th NCAA women's basketball head coach to reach 750. He also would pick up his 20th win of the season, marking his eighth season at Boise State with 20+ wins.

MORE RECORDS

Two Broncos have an opportunity to etch their names in the Bronco record books. Mary Kay Naro moved into third place on the all-time assist list on Saturday with 455 dimes, and has a good chance of passing current graduate assistant coach Jayde Christopher (457 assists). Abby Muse enters Wednesday's matchup in fourth-place with 877 career rebounds, trailing JoAnn Burrell (887) and Shalen Shaw (888).
